Root Canals
When damage occurs to the tooth pulp, root canal treatments may be necessary to repair the tooth and alleviate pain. Our experienced endodontists perform root canal treatments with precision and care to save your natural teeth.
Dental Emergencies
Tooth pulps, including nerves and vasculature, are located in root canals and they may suffer damage due to trauma or decay. These dental emergencies manifest in pain, swelling and discomfort.
Root canal treatments are sometimes needed to repair damage to the tooth pulp. As with other restorative procedures, these routine treatments are performed under local anesthesia to provide the same level of comfort as with regular fillings. Root canal treatments consist of removal of the inflamed pulp tissue and sealing the tooth to prevent further infection. In many cases, root canal-treated teeth will be restored with crowns in order to protect their structure and function. Our digital X-ray sensors allow us to diagnose and complete root canal treatments with minimal exposure to radiation. Â
